 The
2008 Regolith Excavation Challenge was held,
without a winner, on August 2 and
3, 2008 in the Engineering Plaza on the campus of California
Polytechnic State University
San Luis Obispo, California.
We are considering
next year's event. However, serious rule changes will have
to occur before we will consider entering.
ACME Robotics officially announced
their intent to participate in the Regolith
Excavation Challenge
and promptly withdrew due to the lack of timely rule updates.
